Prohibited names

The blocklist that prevents the platform being used to certify things it should not.

Prohibited names list

The moderation blocklist.

When a user names a brand, subject or item, AuthPlus compares that name against this list. A match raises a prohibited warning for administrators to review; it does not block the user’s action outright.

  • Comparison ignores capitalisation, accents and punctuation.
  • A match is raised when the name equals a blocked term, contains one, or is contained by one — so replica matches Replica Watch Co.
  • Entries can be written in English, French or Arabic; the list ships with a baseline covering regulated, illegal and counterfeit-indicating terms.
  1. Add a term with the create action. Duplicates are refused with this name is already on the blocklist.
  2. Edit or remove a term with the row actions.
